"Who We Are" was mostly just a song idea that I had in my voice notes- until I brought it to Sweden. So excited to be working on the bop with Olof Lindskog and Hayley Aitken at The Kennel AB (Stockholm, Sweden), we knew very well that this was going to be an anthem for every teenager during their search for identity. Since there was a good flow of energy in the room, we got to the songwriting part done in less than a day. 

The making of the video clip for “Who We Are” was one hell of a ride. We were given one day to wrap it all up, and I don’t think any of it would have been successful if it wasn’t for the amazing crew I had on board. Bagoes Tresna and his team had the same vision as I did, and it didn’t take long until we were taking fewer shots due to the chemistry we had going around. Starting the shoot from 2.30 am and ending it at 11.30 pm, everyone got the chance to clock in 4 hours of sleep and 2 meal breaks. It was an exciting and memorable moment, and I could feel everyone’s energy and desire to get the right shot and capture only the best out of every moment. 

The monster symbolises as society’s expectations towards us as an individual. The more we run away from it, the more it haunts you. One way to go about this is to accept it, make do with it, and embrace our true genuine selves. Everyone is different, and the more society is able to accept that- the more that we learn to accept that, the better.
